Semi-detached from its twin villa, Villa Thyme Flies II enjoys the same prominent position on the hill and occupies a privileged location overlooking the enchanting island of Tinos.
Built entirely from local materials, mainly local stone, the house is designed to blend in with its surroundings. In a minimalist contemporary style, the house is in perfect harmony with the unique character of Tinos, the Greek island most loved by artists.
The minimalist style of the interior furnishings and decoration in shades of white and grey pays homage to traditional Cycladic simplicity with a contemporary twist, and enhances the stunning views. The walls are white with polished cement floors creating a special atmosphere. The villa has 4 bedrooms on three different levels, while an independent guesthouse (called a ‘cell’ by the locals) offers an additional bedroom.
The pool, almost perched on the edge of the hillside, offers dazzling panoramic views and is the perfect spot for lazy hours. A few steps away, the beautifully designed pergola provides shelter from the island’s strong ‘meltemi’ winds, so guests can enjoy a delicious meal, perhaps using freshly picked produce from the property’s vegetable garden.
