Thankfully, the Travel+Leisure magazine has come to our support – in their April 2014 issue, Greece features among their selection for “5 International Trips of a Lifetime“! We dedicate the featured image for this post to the following words that set the tone in the article – “…watch the sun set behind the Acropolis or one of the other ancient ruins that make Athens the cradle of Western civilization”. We would only add that it is worth taking the time to watch the full moon rise above the Acropolis!
